I was excited with the thought of owning my own home. I was connected with Marlo and we became instant friends. I even toted my 14-month-old son with us on my search. There were so many houses on the market at the time and I was getting tired of looking and all the houses started to look the same. I was ready to settle for anything, but Marlo would point out important facts like the value of the land, neighborhoods, resale ability, etc. RESALE!!! Well, she said she wanted to make sure it's a house she could sell when we upgraded. UPGRADE!! These were things I didn't think about when buying my first home. After viewing several more houses (and come to think of it, I think it took less than a month to find the house of my dreams), I found a house I fell in love with. We put a bid in but unfortunately, were out bidded. I was once again ready to settle for anything but for a stroke of luck/fate, and a realtor that stayed on top of things, their financing fell through and the owners would now negotiate with me. They accepted my offer. It was all made so easy, and I know there's a lot of  "red tape" that can make buying a house a real chore. She went above and beyond the call of what I thought a realtor should do. She understood and cared enough to make our experience with her, and buying our first house, a positive one. Thanks to Marlo, I have the house of my dreams. I couldn't have picked a better realtor than Marlo Laney!
